Fay Weldon Biography

Fay Weldon, English novelist was born in Birmingham, on 22 September 1931. She spent her childhood in Auckland, where his father was working as a doctor. When she was she was 14 years old, her parents divorced and Mrs. Margaret moved to England with her two daughters Jane and Fay. While being in England Fay was studying at the South Hampstead High School.

She attended to the University of Saint Andrews (based in Scotland),  where she studied psychology and economics. She returned to London when her son was born. Soon after returning to London Fay married to Ronald Bateman ( her first husband). The couple divorced closely after two years. When she was 29 years old she married Ron Weldon. They had three sons. In 1994 the couple divorced.
