Joely Richardson Biography

Joely Kim Richardson, an English actress was born in London on January 9, 1965. She is the daughter of Tony Richardson and Vanessa Regrave, an actress. The couple had two daughters, another one is Natasha Richardson, she has also an actress.

Joely and her sister started studying at the Saint Paul school of girls, that is located in Hammersmith. When Joely was 14 years old moved to Harry Hopman’s Tennis School in Florida. She studied at the Thacher School in Ojai. She graduated that school in 1983 and after returning to London she got high education at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Joely Richardson appeared in the  version of The Charge of the Light Brigade (1968). It was directed by Tony Richardson.

The actress is best known for her role in the Showtime, where she plays the roll of Queen Catherine Parr. She is also known for TV shows Nip/Tuck and The Tudors, for films: 101 Dalmatians, Anonymous   and so on.
